A Barrel of Fun at the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta

Blue water gurgling through the gunnels with white foam hissing at the toe rail, the third day of the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, sponsored by Panerai was an absolute gem. The Cannon Course featured four reaching legs, six miles out and back and the Classics’ fleet played out an entertaining procession in heavenly conditions, 20 knots of breeze, bright sunshine with warm water rolling down the decks. Big Breeze on the Butterfly – 2014 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta

Day Two of the 27th Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, sponsored by Panerai, will be remembered for exciting conditions on the Butterfly Course, which produced a variety of wind angles and manoeuvres for the stunning Classic fleet. Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta to take place April 18-23 2013

The 26th Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta will take place between the 17th and the 23rd of April in 2013. The sponsorship remains strong, with Panerai signing up for another three year term, Mount Gay Rum, S. Pellegrino, Portland Yacht Services, Ondeck, Lunenberg Shipyard Alliance, as well as the local supporters all returning. Enjoying the best race conditions of the past few days, today’s final race of the 2012 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta topped off a week of fabulous competitive racing, on-shore celebrations and dockside parties for which this regatta is world renowned. The fourth Windward race course exercises all points of sail and todays 15 to 20 knot south easterlies gave all classes a wonderful romp around the marks with flying finishes guaranteed!
